Thanks for your interest in the EYE Retreat!  We offer an annual overnight weeklong summer EYE Retreat that focuses on preparing individuals with visual impairments for higher education and/or careers. 

SUMMER RETREAT

Student applications will open March 1, 2025.

Summer Retreat Application Policy and Procedures Day Only Registration The priority deadline for Day Registration is June 15. Applications received after June 15, may not receive a t-shirt or all requested accommodations. All requests for accommodations should be submitted via your application by June 15. Overnight Registration The priority deadline for Overnight Registration is June 1. Applications received after June 1, may not receive a t-shirt or all requested accommodations. All requests for accommodations should be submitted via your application by June 1. Commitment Fee There is a commitment fee of $100 for all registrations. This is a NONREFUNDABLE fee. It includes housing, meals, and a t-shirt. Financial aid is available upon request. The EYE Retreat is open to any person with a visual impairment or coexisting disability on a space-available basis. The EYE Retreat does not discriminate on the basis of intellectual or athletic ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, disability, proficiency in English, or any other basis prohibited by law. However, the President/Director or designated committee reserves the right to deny any application at their sole discretion Once all available slots are filled, applicants will be placed on a wait list. Students will be admitted from the wait list as places become available in the order that the applications were received. Participants may reapply to attend the EYE Retreat more than once, but those applications are accepted at the sole discretion of the President/Director or designated committee in accordance with program availability.

Mini Retreat Application Policy and Procedures Policy The EYE Retreat is open to any student with visual impairment or coexisting disability on a space-available basis.
